Tea Party

Vorige week zaterdag vierde ik eindelijk mijn verjaardag. Ik was op 5 augustus al jarig, maar door drukte en vakantie was het er nog niet van gekomen. Met als thema Tea Party.

Met handgemaakte en per post verstuurde uitnodigingen, met mooi vintage servies (lang leve de kringloopwinkels!) en met lekkere zelfgemaakte drankjes en hapjes.

Inspiratie vond ik in het boek "Vintage Tea Party" en via Pinterest. Met succes, het was een geslaagd feestje!

Brrrr....

I had a stomach flu last week, so not much blogging (or anything else) around here.
Before that, we celebrated the 3rd birthday of Karel, who was very happy with his vintage Tonka fire truck.

Of course there was a homemade birthdaycake.

And to celebrate his birthday with his friends on the child daycare centre, I made these keychain droplets (all the groups at the centre have names like clouds, stars, suns and his group is called the droplets).

Hieperdepiep hoera!

Teun is 4 years old now. Today is his birthday, but we celebrated it yesterday with friends and family and lots of presents. And cakes of course! I baked a walnut cake and a "birthday" cake. Teun proudly decorated both the cakes with little candy toadstools himself. Sweet little big boy!
