Tractors and race cars

My partner used to work for a Danish company and traveled quite often to Denmark to visit the head office. The last time that he went there (now he has a job in Amsterdam), he brought home these T-shirts for the boys. Good designs, right? I always find it hard to get nice boys clothes with good prints on them. By the way, the brand is Smafolk, hard to get in Holland.

Flying kids

Last weekend we went to a zoo with friends of us and their kids. They have two boys with almost the same age as our oldest, so that's always great fun. What they liked most in the zoo? The playground of course!

From Japan

This week, a big parcel with new fabrics arrived. All the way from Japan. I love the exciting patterns that they have. The fabrics are available in my shop now.

Business card holder (also one to win for you!)

Because I made my business cards myself, they are a different size than normal business cards and I couldn't find anything nice to put them in, I made a card holder myself. Of course with one of my favourite fabrics. They are quite easy to make and look very nice (at least, that's how I think about it ;)). I am planning to make some more to put in my shop. If you are interested to get one with the fabric of your choice (take a look in my shop...) and the size of you choice, please leave a message or send me an e-mail (vanmarieke@live.nl). At the end of the month, I will draw a name from all the comments.

Rupsje Nooitgenoeg

I think everybody knows the book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" or "Rupsje nooitgenoeg" in Dutch. Somewhere in the U.S., there is The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art and they now sell fabrics with "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" as theme.
There even is a Flickr-group for creations with this fabric.

Funny

I found these somewhere browsing the internet (here to be exactly). Aren't they funny? I wonder if the phones can still be used.

Look what I found!

I hardly ever find anything nice when it comes to fabrics in the second-hand shop or on a flea market.... Until last Friday. I found this really, really large curtain from cotton with blue apples all over (one of my favourite prints when it comes to fabrics, next to birds and cars). I think it is 2x2m, a bit much for myself. So, anyone in for a swap?
