Easy bag for school
I bought a simple green bag for Teun at the army dump store (only 7,50 euros!). I took of the straps and sewed on a nice car fabric. Sewed on the straps again and added a key chain with one of the boys cars. Such an easy project to make an original school bag (which I think are hard to find for little boys).

Bookmark Swap
I love swapping! This time I joined the Bookmark Swap at Swap-Bot. And I will be sending these to Brazil and the U.S.
And I love to receive mail! It is always exciting to receive swap-mail and to see what other people made for you.... I will make a picture of the bookmarks that I will receive for this swap and show them to you later.

Sending to France
My parents are in France now for a few weeks, and when they are there in their little railroad house, we always like to send something over there (cards, drawings, little presents). A few weeks ago, I saw these cute laterns, designed by Jurianne Matter, and I thought that they were just perfect as a present for my parents. The laterns are for sale via Jurianne's website and in various shops per set of 7. You can write a personal message on them if you like. Jurianne also designs other cute paper stuff and recently started a blog as well.

Perfect for a holiday
We were a bit slow in teaching Teun (he is 4,5 years old now) how to ride his bike without the little side wheels. At first he also didn't want to and we were a little surprised, because he is always handy in learning physical things, like walking, climbing, jumping.... Last week he really practised a lot, and since he has holidays from school, he had all the time to do so. And after just a few days he is able to ride the bike on his own (and are we his proud parents of course!). Now he wants to go everywhere with his bike, so when the school starts again next week he will definitely go on his bike!
